
Dr Susanne Rahner
Susanne Rahner Susanne Rahner has Graduated in Mining Geology and earned a PhD in Geochemistry. She worked at universities in Germany (Technical University Clausthal, Goettingen, Humboldt University of Berlin, Free University of Berlin) and Israel (Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot) as well as on several projects in Norway, Greece, and Turkey. She runs an enterprise in the field of Environmental Planning, Geology and Landscape Planning in Berlin, Germany, which serves both the public and the private sector. In this context, she performs contaminated soil and water assessments. Susanne Rahner also lectures at universities and academies throughout Germany and abroad. She has been an active member of EARMA (European Association of Researchers, Managers and Administrators), Brussels, and served as member of the EARMA Board 2010 - 2014. As of 2012, she is Member in NCURA (National Council of University Research), Washington and served as member of the board in NCURA International Region. She is appointed lecturer at the Steinbeis University of Applied Sciences Berlin, in the Master- and Bachelor Programme of Project Management in the public sector, SRH-Hochschule, Berlin and at Hochschule Anhalt Köthen (HSA) in the international project management frame. Susanne Rahner has more than 25 years experience in both the academic and private business world. Involved in numerous international projects she mostly manages the complex ones and trains and supervises students of environmental sciences and project management. She also designs and implements international projects together with clients, and acquires project funding in the EU Framework programmes and other EU programmes (ERASMUS, Long life learning, strategic partnerships, Grundtvig), Marie Sklodowksa Curie, and other national and international funding programs. She is well experienced in delivering training courses on different subjects.
